Webzzle
Technology
Webzzle is built on top of several
innovative technologies.
1st - KOSMOS. KOSMOS means Knowledge Objects Structure
Modeling System. This technology makes it possible to model
knowledge
and benefit from this modeling. KOSMOS powers the knowledge Web
using concepts, Objects and Objects Structures for any entities.
2nd
- Relative Energy (RE). For every single Web resource, user, Object,
there is a RE level whom dynamic value is based on all interactions
between these entities. The Relative Energy
principles build the core of the mutual-rank technology.
The
first generation of search
technologies analyzed the content of the pages - the keywords or
character strings.
The
second, in addition to the analysis of the content of the pages,
analyzed the structure of the hypertext links of each Web page to
determine its importance.
The
third replaced the analysis of the content of the pages by the analysis
of the tags (keywords) given by the users (Web 2.0). However, it
always suffers from the keyword technology and from a classification mechanism using
popularity which is not relevant
(equivalent of the first generation).
Webzzle
develops the real-time collaborative knowledge Web (part of the
semantic Web) by replacing keywords & tags by
concepts from Wikipedia and by replacing the lists by the Objects and
the Objects
Structures. Webzzle analyzes, in real-time, the Objects Structures of
the Web
resources and those of the users to calculate their relative energy
levels (MutualRank) and to determine the importance of a Web page and the one of a
user. Webzzle also changes the way we query: from words to meaning. The
query can be performed through a single click.
Quick advantages of the Webzzle technology:
Real-time
Less links but much more qualified
Do a better job ranking authority
Introduce a user rating system
Leverage knowledge networks to determine where the quality is
Special curation and algorithms on top of that
Kind of p2p recommendation
More engaged data & people
Special weightings to types of content
No more use of keywords - less misunderstanding
Use reputation against authors rather than URLs - a 'PageRank for People'
